Your drone's shadow, gone.
Tap the shadow once: DroneClean follows it through every frame and paints it out. The rest of your video stays exactly as it was.
The film shows a drone clip with the drone's shadow on the sand: a tap on the shadow, DroneClean follows it, and the shadow is gone while everything else stays as it was. Its words: Remove your drone's shadow from every shot. Pick a clip. Tap the shadow. We follow it. Keep the sun. Lose the shadow. Every pilot has this shot. Now you can post it. Your first 30 seconds are free.
Keep the sun. Lose the shadow.
DroneClean is free during the beta. After it, pay only for the seconds you clean.
Nothing is for sale while the beta lasts: every new account gets 1,200 free credits, and if you run out you can ask for more from your profile. After the beta, credits come in the packs below and you spend them only on the seconds where the shadow shows, never on the whole clip: 10 credits clean one second of shadow at 30 fps in standard quality.

Free previews. 3 seconds of every clip, cleaned for real at the standard or the maximum quality, and watermarked.
Free start. 1,200 credits the first time you sign in with Google, and more on request while the beta lasts.
Prices after the beta are in euro in the euro area and in US dollars elsewhere, taxes included. Only the seconds in the highlighted ranges count. A second of shadow costs 10 credits for a video exported at up to 31.5 fps, 15 up to 63 fps and 20 above that, at the standard quality, because a faster video has more frames to clean: an export keeps your clip's own frame rate, or a half, a quarter or an eighth of it, from 23 up to 120 fps, and cleans every frame it keeps. The maximum quality, slower and with more detail on some clips, costs 15, 30 and 60 credits a second in the same bands. An export costs at least 10 credits.
Good to know before you fly.
How do I remove my drone's shadow from a video?
Open DroneClean, choose your clip and tap the shadow once, on a frame where it shows clearly. DroneClean follows it while it stays in view, paints it out frame by frame and gives you the whole video back without it, audio included. If the shadow shows again later in the clip, tap it there too.
Which drones and cameras does it work with?
Any drone or camera that records MP4 or MOV: DJI and other camera drones, FPV quads with an action camera, cinematic rigs. Clips can be up to 60 minutes long and 4 GB, up to 6K and up to 250 fps, in the original's quality (10-bit, D-Log and HLG kept).
Does it change the rest of my video?
No. Only the area where the shadow was is repainted. The rest of the picture and your soundtrack come back as they were. If you export at a lower frame rate than your clip's, the whole video is re-encoded at that rate.
How much does it cost?
Nothing during the beta: DroneClean is free while it lasts. New accounts get free credits, and if you run out you can ask for more from your profile. After the beta you will pay only for the seconds where the shadow is removed, not for the whole clip, with credits bought in packs: 1,200 credits (€9.99 or $9.99), 3,300 credits (€24.99 or $24.99) or 7,200 credits (€49.99 or $49.99), in euro in the euro area and in US dollars elsewhere, taxes included. Credits never expire, and a clip that fails gives them back.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Following the shadow through your clip is free, and every clip gets free 3-second previews, at the standard or the maximum quality, with a watermark (up to 3 per clip), so you see the result on your own footage before you export. New accounts also get 1,200 credits free: 120 seconds of shadow at 30 fps and the standard quality. During the beta everything is free: on a busy day new accounts may start without them, and anyone who runs out can ask for more (up to 7,200 credits at a time).
Do I need an account?
Yes, so your credits and your clean videos wait for you. You sign in with your Google account: no new password, nothing to confirm by email.
How long does it take?
It depends on the seconds of shadow and the frame rate, because every frame with the shadow is repainted: about 15 seconds of work for each second of shadow at 30 fps and about a minute at 120 fps, about two and a half times that at the maximum quality. A frame rate lower than your video's rewrites the whole video, which adds up to a few minutes for each minute of a 4K video. An export first uploads your whole video, which can take a few minutes or more on a phone's network: keep the page open until it is sent, then you can close it. To send less, trim the clip first: Trim keeps only the part you choose, and only that part is uploaded and exported. The export says how long before you start and counts down as it goes. A free preview is ready in a minute or two at the standard quality, and takes about three times as long at the maximum.
What happens to the videos I upload?
To find the shadow and for the free previews, only the seconds around it leave your device (a file that cannot be cut, such as some edited or streamed files, goes up whole). When you export, the whole video is uploaded, so our servers can write the whole clean video (or, if you trimmed the clip, only the part you kept): keep the page open while it uploads, then you can close it, and the video waits in your profile. We use what you upload to remove the shadow and keep it for 7 days; the cleaned videos stay for 30, so you can download them again. We may also use uploaded videos to train and test our models, so DroneClean keeps getting better: you can opt out at any time. We never sell or publish your videos.
